Some area drivers performed well last night at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna.
Travis Rodewald of Manitowoc wins the Late Model Feature race at WIR, while Bobby Wautier from Denmark took the checkered flag in the Sport Truck Feature.
Also, Grant Griesbach, a 19-year-old student at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, grabbed the lead on lap-11 and cruised to his first Super Late Model Feature win.
Two other drivers, Appleton’s Andy Monday and Montello’s Bobby Kendall collided on the backstretch while battling hard for 2nd.
The collision sent Monday’s car into a rollover but, both drivers were unhurt. Their cars, however, suffered significant damage.
