Members of a traveling softball team became sick after swimming in a pool at the Holiday Inn Express in Janesville last week.
Testing done by the Rock County Public Health Department indicates water in the motel’s hot tub and swimming pool were contaminated.
Bacteria were found in water samples.
The sickened players were in Janesville for a weekend softball tournament.
There were no reports of any of the people who got sick needing hospitalization.
Coach Kati Watt said she had never seen her 14-year-old daughter get so violently sick.
