One of the biggest reasons for Green Bay’s 26-and-6 record over the last two N-F-L seasons is consistent success in the red zone.
In coach Matt LaFleur’s first season the Packers got six points nearly 68 percent of the time they made it to the red zone.
The team got better in 2020, scoring a touchdown almost 77 percent of the time the offense got inside the 20.
It was inefficiency in the red zone that cost the Packers in the loss against Tampa Bay in the most recent N-F-C Championship game – at least, it was one of the reasons.
