New Berlin police say a suspected drunken driver went through several yards and even went up a sledding hill while trying to get away early Wednesday morning.
The 45-year-old suspect was wanted on felony gun charges.
He drove away from a traffic stop, then later rammed his vehicle into two New Berlin squad cars while trying to elude his pursuers.
The Milwaukee man was finally taken into custody when he crashed his vehicle into a pond.
No officers were injured and the suspect’s name hasn’t been released.
There is one more mystery – he wasn’t the owner of the vehicle he was driving, but it hadn’t been reported stolen.
