The Manitowoc Bandits baseball team today is hosting its’ annual Military Appreciation Day at Municipal Field. The Bandits are scheduled to play a doubleheader beginning at 4 pm against the Casco A’s in the first game, followed by a matchup with the Kewaunee Chiefs at 6.
There’s a pre-game ceremony at 3:45 with a Special Military Tribute planned at 5:45, or between games. Free admission for Veterans and Military Personnel with a free brat or hot dog and a drink offered for those servicemen and women. Fans attending the games can also help U.S. Troops deployed overseas by bringing care package items to the ballpark.
The Manitowoc American Legion Baseball team has a doubleheader on the schedule at Stevens Point this afternoon. Legion Post-88 takes the field at noon and 2-pm.
