The Northeast region of the State Department of Transportation is doing some highway maintenance work this week.
Here in Manitowoc County, maintenance crews will be sealing bridge decks on northbound I-43 at Newton Road and on southbound I-43 at Point Creek Road starting tomorrow and continuing to Thursday, July 15th from 7am to 3pm.
The DOT states that various lanes of the interstate will be closed this week during repairs. Motorists are urged to slow down and be mindful of workers near highways.
