A July 4th weekend crash in Haiti has left two Wisconsin men dead.
35-year-old Trent Hostetler and 43-year-old John Miller were flying from Port-au-Prince to a medical clinic and school in the country’s southern mountainous region.
Hostetler is an administrator for Gospel for Haiti’s operation in that country. Miller was going there to serve as an evangelist.
Hostetler’s family had gone ahead on an earlier flight, but when the plane carrying the two men didn’t arrive, rescue crews were sent out and they found the wreckage.
GoFundMe pages set up to help the families have raised more than 200 thousand dollars in just over a week.
