The 28-year-old man who is charged with killing a former police officer in Fond du Lac County because he was white was deemed not competent to stand trial.
Daniel Navarro claimed he was the target of racism due to his Mexican heritage, and told authorities that then-President Donald Trump and white people are creating that kind of world.
Navarro reportedly rammed his car into a motorcycle driven by Phillip Thiessen in the Town of Tycheedah in 2020, killing him in the process.
In an attempt to get Navarro to be competent to understand the court proceedings, the Judge ordered him to be treated for schizophrenia.
