A 46-year-old Platteville man has been sentenced to life in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a child.
A Grant County jury found Robert Ruch Junior guilty last week.
He won’t be eligible for parole.
Authorities say they began investigating Ruch last year.
He had previously been convicted of the sexual assault of a child in Grant County in 2002.
The Wisconsin sex offender registry shows Ruch was convicted of the same crime – aggravated criminal sexual abuse – in Illinois the same month.
