U-S Senator Ron Johnson hasn’t made a formal decision whether he will run for re-election, but lack of money from supporters isn’t a problem.
The Wisconsin Republican has raised more money in the last three months than all of the announced Democratic candidates who want his job.
The latest campaign finance figures show Johnson collected $1.2 million over the last three months and has $1.7 million cash on hand.
Milwaukee Bucks executive Alex Lasry leads the field of Democrats with $1 million collected between April and June, while State treasurer Sarah Godlewski put a little over $500,000 in the bank during the period.
