Those driving through downtown last evening (July 21st) may have seen a rather large vessel docked near the parking lot outside of The Wharf.
The S.S. Environmental Protection Agency was not here to investigate an oil spill or anything like that but rather needed to dock due to rough waters on Lake Michigan.
The vessel is also known as Lake Guardian and appears to be out of Bay City Michigan, which is located in Saginaw Bay on the east side of the state.
