Police say a 28-year-old man suffered serious injuries Wednesday when a Milwaukee house exploded and burned.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released, but authorities say he was hospitalized with burn injuries. He is said to be in stable condition. Officers on the scene say the explosion may have been caused by fireworks. People living nearby reported hearing a big bang and several called 9-1-1 to report the problem.
Debris from the explosion was scattered around the area, but the man inside the home was the only one injured. The ATF and FBI will investigate.
