The Manitowoc County Historical Society has announced a Buffalo Bill Wild West Show is coming to the Pinecrest Historical Village Grounds next month.
Guests coming to the village, west of Manitowoc, on Saturday and Sunday, August 14th and 15th will have the opportunity to spend the day amidst the legends of the Wild West, including Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley.
An arena show will take place at 1 pm on both days and will feature the thrill and excitement of fast horses, trick riding, and fancy shooting. Other events that weekend include a Horse Parade through the grounds at 12:30 PM and a bank robbery followed by a Flea Circus performance.
Also on the museum grounds in mid-August will be Blacksmithing demonstrations, Gold Panning, the Annie Oakley Shooting Gallery, and a Chuck Wagon Cooking demonstration. Food and beverages will be available. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $7 for children ages 4-to-17 and free for those under the age of four.
MCHS members receive free admission. Helping to sponsor the wild west show are Bank First, Community First Credit Union, and Terp Family Insurance.
