A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he reportedly stole over $400 worth of items from Walmart.
Officers were called to the store on Calumet Avenue at around 3:00 PM on Friday (July 23rd) by the Loss Prevention Team.
They told the Manitowoc Police Department that they witnessed a 22-year-old man enter the store, and place a $300 speaker, several dolls, and some food items into his cart.
He paid for some of the items at a self-checkout aisle but failed to scan the higher ticket items.
He then left the store without paying for over $420 worth of items.
The man was located driving on Dewey Street a short time later and was found to be in possession of the stolen items.
The man has been charged with Retail Theft, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and four counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
