Big things are expected of Wisconsin football players Jake Ferguson and Kayden Lyles this season.
Both have been named to preseason watch lists.
Ferguson is a candidate for the Mackey Award, which goes to the best tight end in the country.
Lyles was added last week to the Rimington Award watch list. The honor goes to the best college center.
Ferguson was the Badgers’ top receiver last season with 30 catches for 305 yards and four touchdowns during the seven-game shortened season.
Lyles is expected to anchor the always-strong U-W offensive line.
