The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center near Manitowoc opened three years ago & today is one of the country’s premier agriculture education destinations will start a three-day anniversary celebration.
Abigail Martin is the Program Manager at the discovery center, and she told Seehafer News, “We are very thankful to have reached this milestone. Many people have spent years looking forward to this dream of an agricultural education center here in Wisconsin.”
Martin said that the Spud Mobile and two veterinarians local to the area highlight some of the activities today (July 29th), which is the actual birthday of the center.
Also, Alice in Dairyland Julie Nunes, is scheduled to be in attendance showcasing Wisconsin’s robust cherry industry.
Between 9-and-4pm with regular admission rates, visitors can see baby animals, agriculture equipment and have food samples throughout the weekend, as Martin explains, to offer a sneak peek of the Wisconsin Cafe’ reopening.
