A judge has scheduled arraignment for next month for the 23-year-old Dane County man accused of killing his father.
Chandler Halderson waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday while making an in-person appearance in Dane County Circuit Court.
Halderson faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide in his father’s death.
His mother, Krista Halderson, is still missing.
The son is scheduled to return to court Friday, August 13th.
That is when he will formally enter a plea to the charges.
