Piggly Wiggly will soon be under new ownership.
C&S Wholesale Grocers has announced plans to purchase Piggly Wiggly Midwest which is headquartered in Sheboygan.
With the deal, C&S would acquire 11 Piggly Wiggly Midwest corporate-run stores, as well as serve 14 Butera Market supermarkets in the Chicagoland region plus 84 Piggly Wiggly franchises in Wisconsin.
The stores in Two Rivers and Manitowoc are listed as being under the Fox’s Piggly Wiggly banner, but it’s not clear if they are a part of the Midwest banner as well.
