Bail is set at $1000 cash for a 19-year-old Manitowoc man facing numerous charges after allegedly overdosing in his parked car.
Ronald J. Burrows is charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a schedule Four Drug While Armed, Marijuana, and LSD.
Officers responded to the Kwik Trip Gas Station on South 10th Street around 4 this (Wednesday) morning for a report of a man asleep in his car for over an hour. An officer’s attempt to wake Burrows failed and after noticing signs indicative of an overdose an unspecified anti-overdose medication was administered which woke him up.
A search of Burrow’s vehicle discovered multiple pills including Xanax, Marijuana, LSD, several items of Drug Paraphernalia, and a 9 mm handgun. He was taken into custody after treatment at Holy Family Memorial Hospital. Conditions of bail are that Burrows does not possess any controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, alcohol or firearms and maintains “absolute sobriety” from drugs and alcohol. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance set for August 9th at 1:30 PM.
