Bail is set at $500 cash yesterday for a 27-year-old Manitowoc man who allegedly punched his girlfriend over the weekend.
Ryan J. Packer is charged with Disorderly Conduct and Battery each with Domestic Violence Enhancers-Possession of Methamphetamine and three counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Officers responded to a residence in the 1700 block of Cedar Grove Drive Saturday night for a family trouble complaint. She said they were at a friend’s house the previous night when he became upset with her and cooler heads prevailed.
The following night an argument ensued at their residence when Packer allegedly punched the victim with a closed fist and was taken into custody. Conditions of bail are that Packer have “no contact” with his girlfriend and report to the Manitowoc Police Department for photos and prints within 72 hours of release. He remains in the County Jail and his initial appearance is scheduled for August 16th at 1:30 PM.
