One of two defendants found passed out in a Manitowoc Park bathroom last week appeared for a bail hearing yesterday.
26-Year-old Destiny Koch-Hostettler of Reedsville remains in the County Jail on $500 cash bail on charges of Possession of a Non-Scheduled Drug along with three counts each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Police responded to Halverson Park last Friday morning on a report of a man identified as Justin Naibert who had locked himself in the bathroom. Officers found both Koch-Hostettler and Naibert lying on the ground barely responsive claiming, they weren’t who their IDs said they were and their “real selves” were dead and were given rat poison.
Koch-Hostettler was in illegal possession of prescription drugs and both defendants were taken into custody. Naibert was charged with Damage to Property and has yet to make a court appearance. Conditions of Bail for Koch-Hostettler are that she has “no possession” of any controlled substance-maintain “absolute sobriety” and appear at The Manitowoc Police Department for photos and prints within 72 hours of release.
Her initial appearance is scheduled for August 16th at 1:30.
