An Appleton man faces a mandatory life sentence after being convicted in June of two counts of First Degree Intentional Homicide in the deaths of a Manitowoc father and daughter nearly three years ago.
Karl Hess will appear in the courtroom of Circuit Judge Jerilyn Dietz where he’ll learn his fate for killing Richard and Jocelyn Miller in September of 2018 in their Dale Street home.
The original motive was purportedly for money that Hess knew was in the Miller residence as he was going through financial difficulties at the time.
\Sentencing is scheduled for 2:30.
