The Wisconsin Badgers are ranked 12th in the AP Preseason College Football Poll as voted on by media who cover the sport on a regular basis.
Oho State is the highest-ranked Big Ten team at number four with Indiana, Iowa and Penn State ranked 17th thru 19th respectively. Michigan and Northwestern received votes.
Defending national Champion Alabama is number one. Oklahoma, Clemson, Ohio State and Georgia round out the top five. The Badgers open the season on September 4th hosting the Penn State Nittany Lions.
