The six winners of the races at 141 Speedway’s Captain of the Creek event last night took home a portion of over $14,000 in cash prizes.
Earning the top spot in the Unified Street Stocks was Jeff Richards of Montello Wisconsin, while De Pere resident Johnny Whitman won the IMCA Modifieds feature.
Clint Malueg of Bonduel earned the checkered flag in the IMCA Sport Compacts feature, while the IMCA Stock Car race was won by Kyle Frederic of Oconto Falls.
The Grand Nationals race was won by Daniel Schumacher of Germantown, while the big winner in the IMCA Sport Mods Feature was Cam Reimers of Kelley Iowa.
141 Speedway is off on Saturday night, but will be back at it for Gandrud Presents Season Championship Night, Saturday, August 28th.
Meanwhile, at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, two-time Red, White and Blue champion Maxwell Schultz of Reedsville passed Sawyer Effertz for the lead on lap 14 and went on to win the Super Late Model Feature Thursday (August 19th).
Another area winner was Travis Rodewald of Manitowoc who came in 1st place in the Late Model Feature. The Super Stock Feature was won by hometown boy Trevor Howard, while Braison Bennet won the Sizzlin 4 Feature.
Bobby Wautier of Denmark continued his winning ways as he won the Sport Truck Feature, while Jordan Gracyalny of Appleton captured the checkered flag in the V6 Royals Race.
