In Girls High School Tennis Thursday (August 19th) Manitowoc Lincoln went 2-1 at the Shawano Quadrangular.
All 3 matches ended with the score of 4-3 with the Ships edging Oshkosh North and Pulaski, but dropping a decision to the host Hawks.
Coach Stephanie Henschel tells us that highlighting the day for her team was a 3-0 performance by the doubles tandem of Sophia Wergin and Olivia Minikel.
They did have to default matches at ‘2 and-‘3 doubles.
The Ships are scheduled to travel to Wauwatosa Saturday.
