Two Manitowoc defendants appeared for bail hearings yesterday after being taken into custody on drug charges over the weekend.
Bond was set at $4000 recognizance for 25-year-old Kelwin Molina-Gonzalez on charges of Possession of Heroin, Fentanyl, Marijuana, another Schedule Drug and Drug Paraphernalia and Carrying a Concealed Weapon while bond was set at $2500 recognizance bond for 37-year-old Jessica Schuette on charges of possessing Heroin, Fentanyl, another schedule drug and Drug Paraphernalia.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1600 block of Wollmer Street late Sunday night for two people asleep in a vehicle. They noticed that both Molina-Gonzalez and Schuette had trouble staying awake with a subsequent search revealing both were in possession of several drugs with Molina-Gonzalez also carrying a concealed knife.
Conditions of bail are that Molina-Gonzalez possess no weapons or controlled substances of any kind and maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol while Scheutte’s conditions are that she does not possess any controlled substances and maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol.
Both remain in the County Jail on probation holds and are scheduled to return to court for Initial appearances on September 13th at 1:30 PM.
