Today is the opening day of the Manitowoc County Fair, which also means it’s the first day for the Sea Lion Show.
The Sea Lion Show may be a new event for the county fair, but it already garnered a lot of fans. The bleacher stand was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with eager kids and adults alike for the seals to do their tricks.
The seal trainer entertained the crowd with “magic tricks” including a disappearing fish (into the seal’s mouth, of course). The seals also demonstrated their ability to do human activities, like think and recycle.
The show will have several appearances throughout the fair:
August 25 – 2 Pm and 5 PM
August 26 – 11 AM, 2 PM, and 5 PM
August 27 – 11 AM, 2 PM, and 5 PM
August 28 – 10:30 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5 PM
August 29 – 10:30 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM
