For the second day in a row, there’s word of a former outstanding high school athlete in the lakeshore area passing away.
Terry Warden died at his Manitowoc residence Sunday morning at the age of 69.
Warden, a 1970 graduate of Roncalli High School, was an outstanding running back for the Jets of Coach Ron Klestinski when they won the first-ever WISAA state football championship at Lambeau Field in 1969.
Terry received All-State recognition for his offensive skills after being honored as an all-conference halfback and defensive back.
Memorial Services will be held Friday (September 3rd) at 11 am at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo Boulevard.
