The Wisconsin Realtors’ Association has issued its’ August 2021 Real Estate Report.
Monthly home sales fell by 6.3% last month, statewide, compared to the same month a year ago.
The average median price rose by 6.4% to $250,000 while mortgage interest rates fell even lower for homebuyers to an average of 2.84% on a 30-year fixed loan.
Meanwhile, the number of home sales in Manitowoc County for August was down 1 from 126 last year, while the median price increased 4% to $165,000.
As for year-to-date sales in the county, they totaled 720 over the first 8-months of 2021, as opposed to 719 a year ago.
The median price over that time went up 17.5% to $152,750.
