The 10th Annual Prevent Suicide Manitowoc County Run/Walk for Hope will be taking place this Saturday.
The local group is looking to raise money so they can continue to aid people in the area who may be struggling with their mental health.
While the money raised this weekend will go specifically toward helping area veterans, anyone and everyone is welcome to come and show their support.
Since this is the 10th annual iteration of the event, Prevent Suicide is going all out to make this the biggest Walk/Run for Hope yet.
The opening ceremony emceed by our own Ryan Brahm at UW Green Bay – Manitowoc Campus will begin at 8:00, where Ryan will also be the guest speaker.
Also, new this year is the timing of both a 5K and 10K race.
There will also be booths with more information available on how you can help your loved ones who may be struggling.
If you are unable to make it to the event but still wish to donate, simply visit PreventSuicideManitowoc.com to see how you can help out.
