Bucking trends in the state and in higher education, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is once again seeing an enrollment gain, this year on all four of its campuses (Green Bay, Marinette, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan).
Preliminary data was released by the UW System this week and showed a three percent overall enrollment gain for UW-Green Bay from last year at this time.
It’s the sixth straight year of enrollment gain for the University. Official enrollment headcounts are expected to be released by the UW System in late October or November.
With College Credit in High School students continuing to enroll in the weeks ahead, UW-Green Bay leaders predict an even stronger report when official numbers are released.
The forecast for the future of the University also looks strong, with first-year student applications for fall 2022 trending higher during the opening month than in the previous year.
