A Manitowoc County trust that was established to fund hunting, fishing and conservation projects has announced that it is accepting requests for the 2021 funding cycle.
The FORWARD Endowment, which stands for Friends of Resources, Wildlife and Recreational Development, was founded by the Manitowoc Unit of County Fish & Game.
There are generally between $7,000 and $9,000 available for community projects and applications for funding will be accepted through December 31st.
The actual selection of grants is scheduled to be made at the Gift Committee meeting next February.
Projects must have a public benefit and tie to hunting, fishing, and conservation and be based here in Manitowoc County.

The FORWARD Endowment has so far awarded over $132-thousand dollars in grants in Manitowoc County.
