The Reedsville Panthers jump two places to number five in this week’s AP Prep Football Small Schools Poll as voted on by sportswriters that cover the sport on a regular basis.
Reedsville –coming off a 41-0 Homecoming win last Friday over Oostburg– have two tough road tests at Howards Grove and Cedar-Grove Belgium respectively before wrapping up the regular season at home against Manitowoc Lutheran. The Hilbert Wolves receive votes and the Regis Ramblers of Eau Claire remain number one.
In the Medium Schools Division, Catholic Memorial of Waukesha remains number one. Luxemburg Casco is tied for sixth with Northwestern. Freedom is eighth with Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian receiving votes.
Franklin sits atop the Large School Poll. Kimberly is tied with Sun Prairie for third. Appleton North is eighth with De Pere receiving votes.
