The Hamilton Wood Type Museum is preparing to host their 13th Annual Hamilton Wayzgoose event virtually in early November.
Local community members are invited to attend the conference completely free of charge.
The featured speaker on Friday, November 5th will be E.M. Ginger, who has worked with fine and rare books, and scholarly material, for five decades.
Saturday’s keynote speaker is Alice Savoie, an independent type designer, and researcher based in France.
There are also several other presenters penciled in for the event.
Tootsie Marie Sommers from the Museum said in a news release, “Anyone interested in book design and publication, creativity, typography, letterpress printing, artistry, museums will be thankful they registered.”
You can register for the event by going to Woodtype.org, where they will also be giving out scholarships.
