A 33-year-old Luxemburg man was taken into custody recently on a charge of Reckless Physical Abuse of a Child.
Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski says additional charges may be forthcoming against Alan T. Finch identified as the father of the victim-a seven-year-old girl.
The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Office received a call Monday afternoon from a Green Bay Medical facility regarding a young female patient who was unconscious and brought in for treatment with wounds consistent with physical abuse.
The child was eventually transported to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee and is listed in critical condition. Her name or extent of her injuries are not being released since she’s a minor.
The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department along with the Kewaunee County Human Services, the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and Division of Criminal Investigation continue their investigation.
