A male operator of a motorcycle has died following a crash early Saturday morning in Sheboygan County.
At around 3:00 AM a Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputy came upon the incident in a ditch at the intersection of County Road W and State Highway 32 in the Town of Lima.
An investigation determined that the man traveling alone failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection and crashed proceeding to enter the ditch.
The man in his fifties suffered serious injuries.
Lifesaving efforts began on scene and continued until arrival at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan where he was pronounced dead.
The name of the victim is expected to be released later today following notification to the family.
Assisting on the scene were Sheboygan Falls and Oostburg Fire Departments and Orange Cross Ambulance.
