The following is a notice from Manitowoc Parks and Recreation.
A one-day hands-on workshop entitled “Chainsaw Safety and the Basics of Tree Trimming” organized by Municipal Electric Utilities of Wisconsin will be held at Lincoln Park on Wednesday, October 13th.
The north portion of the park as well as the north and south roadways by the cabins will be closed to traffic and pedestrians from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the workshop.
Both the south road from Lincoln Boulevard to the Zoo as well as the Zoo entrance off of Reed Avenue will remain open. Visitors to the park should stay clear of any tree trimming or removal activities.
