Bail is set at $1250 recognizance bond for a 31-year-old Manitowoc woman facing charges after allegedly firing a gun in her home.
Erika L. Balzan is charged with 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Disorderly Conduct.
Police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of South 20th Street Tuesday night after receiving a 911 call stating that a weapon was fired.
Balzan’s husband said that she entered a room that he was in to continue an argument that started the night before.
She then walked out of the room went to their bedroom and allegedly fired the gun telling officers she did it to see if her husband really cared.
Balzan was taken into custody without further incident and no one was injured.
Conditions of bail are that Balzan has no contact with the victim and not to possess any dangerous weapon.
An initial appearance is scheduled for November 8thh at 1:30 p.m.
