One game of local interest in high school football last night.
It was in Pulaski where the Red Raiders stormed out to a 28-0 halftime lead and returned the 2nd half kickoff 80-yards for a TD enroute to a 49-0 win over Manitowoc Lincoln.
Pulaski amassed 334 yards of total offense, 294 of it on the ground with their highly-efficient single wing and 18-first downs.
The Shipbuilders meanwhile were only able to muster 96 yards for the game and just 6-first downs.
Aaron Maroszek scored 3-touchdowns for the Red Raiders on runs of 3 and 13 yards and also caught a touchdown pass.
Defensively, Austin Shaw had a pass interception for Lincoln which winds up the regular season at 4-and-5 with 3-consecutive losses and only 7-points over that stretch.
They ARE playoff eligible with a winning conference record of 4-and-3.
Pulaski is 7-and-2 as it also awaits a playoff berth when the pairings come out Saturday morning.

New Holstein invades Two Rivers where the Raiders can assure themselves of becoming playoff eligible with a victory.

Also, Manitowoc Lutheran travels to once-beaten Reedsville, Valders will take to the road to face Chilton, Sheboygan South visits Notre Dame, Sheboygan North is hosting Green Bay West, and Sheboygan Falls travels to Ripon.
In other games of area interest, Howards Grove is at Ozaukee, Oostburg goes to Hilbert, Brillion (7-&-1) is on the road to meet Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian (8-0) with the winner claiming sole possession of an EWC championship. Denmark is also at undefeated Luxemburg-Casco.
The 7-1 Vikings can claim a share of the North Eastern Conference title with the Spartans with a win, while Southern Door goes to Kewaunee.
