Bail is set at $1000 cash for a 45-year-old Manitowoc man facing numerous charges after he allegedly attempted to run over a man in his car and swinging a metal flashlight at him.
Shannen L. Bratz with First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Obstructing An Officer, Damage To Property, Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia, Two Counts of Disorderly Conduct and Five Counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Officers responded to a home on Clermont Street early Sunday morning and upon arrival located Bratz and took him into custody.
The male victim told officers that Bratz was angry over comments he made to his girlfriend warning him that he was coming to his house.
Bratz drove to the victim’s home nearly hitting him and then swinging and striking the victim with a metal flashlight.
A search of Bratz’s vehicle confirmed that he was in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and several knives.
The extent of the victim’s injuries was not disclosed. Conditions of bail are that Bratz have no contact with the victim and maintains absolute sobriety. He remains in the County
