Bail was set at $500 cash yesterday for a 22-year-old Manitowoc man who was arrested over the weekend after attempting to steal Lego items from Walmart.
Jacob Barbano has been charged with Retail Theft and Bail Jumping and he also had warrants out for his arrest on other matters as well.
Police were called around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon as the Local Prevention Team told officers that they caught Barbano stealing and failing to pay for a Lego
set valued at $100.
He then returned later that evening and stole over $100 in Lego products.
Barbano remains in the County Jail and is due back in court for an initial appearance next Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
