Shirley A. Holschbach, age 88, a Manitowoc resident, passed away on Monday morning, October 25, 2021, at Azura Memory Care in Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton, on Friday, October 29, 2021. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial to follow at St. Casimir Cemetery, Newton.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, October 29, 2021, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
Survivors include eight children and their spouses: Debbie (Dennis) Fischer, Reedsville, Russell (Ellen) Holschbach, Newton, Cindy (Brian) Rappel, Colorado, David (Tina) Holschbach, Newton, Bonnie (David) Luckow, Manitowoc, Luanne (Andy) Baryenbruch, Newton, Linda (Allan) Mancheski, Manitowoc, Craig (Chanda) Holschbach, Manitowoc; 20 grandchildren: Tanya (Johnny) Bodart, Brad (Nicole) Fischer, Brenda (Ryan) Drossel, Timothy (Sheila) Holschbach, Aaron (Stephanie) Holschbach, Christina (special friend Carl) Rappel, Melissa (Jason) Schneider, Wayne Rappel, Amber Holschbach, Justin (Christine) Holschbach, Travis (Selena) Holschbach, Melinda (Mike) Schreiber, Devin (Cora) Luckow, Kryssa (Zack) Rathsack, Amanda Baryenbruch (special friend Will), Josh Mancheski (special friend Stephine) Jeremy Mancheski (fiancée Ashaley), Austyn (fiancée Carly Husk) Holschbach, Chandler Holschbach and Ashlyn Holschbach; 17 Great Grandchildren plus 1 expected in March; and 1 great great grandchild; one sister: Carol Novy, Two Rivers; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Marilyn Schultz, Rose Mary Holschbach, Ethel Meyer, Frederick (Ruth) Holschbach, Clarann Wagner, Elaine (Milton) Wetenkamp; and special friends: Vicki Rathsack, Linda Damrow, Sue and Shelly. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one son: Bruce Holschbach; two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Louise (Harold) Olson, Leona (Richard) Wondrash and Frank Novy; eight brothers and seven sisters-in-law: Dale Schultz, Daniel (Thelma) Schultz, Bob (Grace) Schultz, Kelly (Marie) Schultz, Earl (Lois) Schultz, LeRoy (Jean) Schultz, Louis (Ellie) Schultz, Jr, Carl (Shirley) Schultz, Jane Schultz; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Alois and Lillian Holschbach; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Lucille (Thomas) Walsh, Harold (Grace) Holschbach, John Holschbach, Earl (Theresa) Holschbach-Waack, Victor Meyer, LeRoy Wagner, Gerald Holschbach, Sandy Holschbach, Leonard Holschbach and Arthur Holschbach.
