The Kiel Fire Department responded to a report of smoke and flames Tuesday afternoon coming from Country Visions Co-op at 1220 Park Avenue in Kiel.
Crews were guided to the back of the building where heavy smoke and flames were present originating from a corn dryer.
Hose lines were immediately deployed to begin suppression efforts.
Ladder trucks from Kiel and New Holstein were deployed due to the height of the dryer.
Fire command also requested a Mutual aid Box Alarm to bring additional resources to the scene.
Multiple crews remained on the scene for nearly three hours to assist in fire suppression efforts.
No one was injured.
No dollar damage estimate is available at this time and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Assisting on scene were fire departments from Cleveland, Chilton, Collins, Elkhart Lake, St. Anna, and St. Nazianz, Kiel Police, Utilities and Street Department, New Holstein First Responders, and Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch.
