Allan G. Boeder, age 55, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at his residence.
Allan was born on February 21, 1966 in Manitowoc to the late Alfred “Fritz” and Delores (Hoefner) Boeder. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1984. Allan then enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country until his honorable discharge in 1994. On June 17, 1995, Allan married Lee Caldwell in Key West, FL. He worked in maintenance and as an electrician. Allan enjoyed playing bocce ball, bowling, watching Packer games, and spending time with family and friends. He was a proud veteran and was instrumental in planning Memorial Day parades and participating in military rites. Allan was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include Allan’s wife, Lee; three children whom he was very proud of, Sandy L. (Sol) Cunningham, Oxford, MI; Allan L. Boeder, Waterloo; and Amber L. (Trevor) Boeder; five grandchildren, Kyle, Megan, Phoebe, Jed, and Fin; two brothers, Kevan and Kurt (Amy) Boeder; aunt, Grace Boeder; uncle, Gordon Alsvig; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Allan was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Delores Boeder; and sister, Annette Boeder.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. Rev. Robert Kujawski and Rev. Stephen Melso will officiate with military rites accorded by American Legion Post 88 to be held at the church immediately following the service. The family will greet relatives and friends at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church on Friday from Noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
