An 11-year-old girl is the only survivor of a weekend plane crash on Beaver Island in Lake Michigan.
The pilot and three passengers were killed.
Authorities report the victims were Gaylord realtor Mike Perdue and island residents Kate Leese and Adam Kendall.
Perdue’s daughter was airlifted to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
The U-S Coast Guard confirms the twin-engine commuter plane crashed at about 1:30 p-m Saturday.
A Coast Guard helicopter was training nearby when it got the emergency call.
Officials say this was the first crash involving Island Airways.
Beaver Island is about 32 miles from Charlevoix on Michigan’s lower peninsula.
