The unemployment rate has dropped slightly in Sheboygan County.
According to numbers released by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, the unemployment rate in Sheboygan County fell from 3.2% in August to 2.8% last month, despite the workforce shrinking by 1,064.
A total of 1,747 people were considered unemployed last month in Sheboygan County, which is 331 fewer than in August.
The lowest unemployment rate in the State was found in Lafayette County, where 2.2% of workers are unemployed, and the highest was in Menominee County, where 8% of people are without jobs.
