The Manitowoc Police Department is now accepting applications for the 2022 Citizens Academy.
This ten-week training program covers various aspects of law enforcement including Police Department Operations, Use of Force, Firearms, Traffic Stops, and much more.
The goal of the Citizens’ Academy is to provide graduates with a working knowledge of the Manitowoc Police Department and to strengthen community support and involvement with the department.
Academy classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., March 1st through April 26th, with Graduation being held on May 3rd.
Interested citizens must be committed to attending ALL sessions.
