The television broadcast of the Badgers’ N-C-A-A Volleyball Championship last weekend set a record with 1.2 million viewers.
That was the most-watched women’s college volleyball match ever on E-S-P-N.
Wisconsin defeated Nebraska three sets to two.
Following the Saturday victory, players and coaches were welcomed home by their fans at the U-W Fieldhouse Sunday afternoon.
It was the first-ever national championship for the volleyball program.
