State health officials say supplies of Pfizer and Merck’s new pills that treat the coronavirus are limited and will be sent to the most vulnerable and hardest-hit communities first.
The Department of Health Services says you shouldn’t wait for the pills and need to get vaccinated and get boosted. Deputy State Health Secretary Deb Standridge says that’s the best way to protect yourself.
