Two homes were affected by a garage fire Monday afternoon in Sheboygan Falls.
The Sheboygan Falls Police Department was informed of the blaze in the 100 block of Shelly Drive at around 2:30 PM, and they informed several area fire departments.
Crews arrived to find an attached garage completely engulfed in flames, with the roof partially collapsed.
The residents in the home had already escaped without injury while crews began attacking the flames.
The fire was extinguished in a timely manner, but not before the attached home, and a neighboring residence were damaged by the heat.
The damage cost estimate was not released, and investigators believe a portable heater is to blame.
